Tuber of the Week #37: Incredible

Sometimes I feel incredible.

Like how "Jimmy the Dog" must feel while watching a Lake Laberge sunset in the Yukon (also referred to as the Yukon Territory).

Other times, I feel...well...like Mr. Incredible:

And so are the peaks and valleys of life.

"...And some rice cakes?"

Following Krista and Jimmy's experiences in a territory that stretches for 186,000+ square miles yet only has a population of just over 30,000 people is quite the adventure and worth a daily visit.

I have those ups and downs. Is this just part of being a writer?

With all the cheese and bread I've been eating, I feel like Mr. Incredible's counterpart.

I love the Incredibles. That movie is awesome.
It's good to know we all have our good and bad moments. Even superheroes have flaws, right?
;)

as long as there are more peaks than valleys, I'd say you are in good shape :D

I thought you were going all allegorical and referring to how your pants often fail to fit as you get older. Especially after the Mr. Incredible bit. Seems most of us just get larger, not smaller.

Rice cakes????

What about real cakes? The kind with chocolate. :D

That sunset is making me wistful. I haven't seen a beautiful sunset in awhile. It's hard in a city. And today is the first day we've had sun in days.

Hope you have more peaks than valleys in your life.

That's like me EVERY DAY!!! Ha! Thanks for sharing.

Love that photo. I wonder if the dog is like, "Another day, another bowl of Iams Ho, hum."

I think we writers have a bit more peaks and valleys than some professions. We feel so much.

Great picture. I wish I could zap myself into that moment, just breathe and relax, with no thought of the world. Those moments do come, but it's only temporary. Love the Incredibles! There's a new show on ABC called "No Ordinary Family", it reminds me of the Incredibles, except the characters are living humans. Well, hope you are able to take a moment to enjoy the weekend. Cheers!

I love The Incredibles! I have been watching No Ordinary Family too; and I agree they are similar and both very fun!

Slam, thank you so much for your kind words. I am so happy that you enjoy seeing my Yukon shots and of course Jimmy is now your friend for life. ;o) He's already waiting for his next close up! LOL!

Very true. However, I hope for most life has more peaks. I think it is a pretty special experience all the way around...even with the valleys.:)
