When playing hide-and-go-seek with kids, always remember to remove your socks prior to hiding in the bathtub.
Squishy cotton on the feet is never a good feeling.

I am a thirty-something married sleep-deprived Christian with little ones who uses this blog as an outlet. Growing up in a military family, I got to see a few different parts of the US. I am much more comfortable being in the South, but currently reside North of the Mason-Dixon Line. I spent almost a decade as the police and enjoy discussing law enforcement and crime.
I regularly blog-surf and enjoy reading the works of other talented writers.

I love that commercial. My son didn't like it at all. LOL He said it hurt his ears.
haha yeah wet socks suck. FYI bare feet and stepping in a hairball sucks more though.
Been there. Done that. Actually, this applies to any time my 12 yo and 9 yo have baths or showers. Seriously, how can someone get so much water on the floor after having a bath?????
And of course I forget this every time I go into their bathroom. :P

Bleh to wet socks! That is a horrible feeling. It's almost as bad as the very end of your sleeve being wet. Omg, just thinking about a wet sleeve end makes me cringe! Roll them up before you wash your hands.... :)

My four year old was once so involved in a game of hide and go seek, that he peed in the bathtub instead of risking leaving his hiding place to use the toilet. So wet socks may be something completely grosser in my house.

That happens to me every time my son forgets to the GREAT DANE outside to potty before leaving for work and I come home, 12 hours later ...
haha,you play hide and go seek a lot! That's awesome. Older brothers and Dads (Uncles, etc) who play along with games like that when you're young, are always more fun than their female counterparts. I dont know why that is. This is just merely a memory I had when I was young.
And you're right, that is highly unpleasant :)
My kids love taking a bath while wearing socks - preferably many pairs at the same time!
