Me the Spammer

I am Slamdunk--also known as Slamdunk "spammer."

Or so says WordPress.

WordPress or one of its affiliates is currently blocking many of my comments.

As result, I am unable to post comments on WP blogs that I enjoy reading.

I am working with someone from one of their spam filters to identify the issue, but no luck yet.

In the meantime, I apologize to my WordPress friends. I did not forget about you, I am just that silent voice in the background.

In contrast, those who blog using Blogger accounts are in luck.

I'll continue to post comments to your sites that include offers for "discount pharmaceuticals," "entertainment for those above age 21," and "off-shore gambling casinos."

I know how much all of you find such insights beneficial and entertaining.

Joking.

Really WordPress...

Update: WP comments are still being blocked, so I created a second account until the problem is resolved--so don't be afraid if a commenter similar to me posts on your WP blog.

I am aware of the problem, SD. I just go through the spam and approve your comment.

Others can do the same.

I did notice that one of your comments went through normally at my site and another day one was in the spam folder. I unspammed you of course. Today's you were back in the regular place where good comments live. :)

Don't forget the FREE CREDIT REPAIR and EYELID SURGERY BREAKTHROUGHS! Seriously, I think your comments are making it through on mine just fine. But I'm on a .org platform if that makes any difference. Hope you get them straightened out. If not, offer them something in Chinese. ;-)

I had to attend a work meeting this morning and the manager began by talking about "BITCH marks", that we were expected to meet. I waited to see if there would be a punch line to this, but I realized that is how he pronounced "BENCHmarks"! HA!
Wordpress and I are just alike.

To quote Douglas Adams, "We are stuck with technology when what we really want is just stuff that works."

That's weird. Technology is both a blessing and a curse.

Technology began with the invention of the wheel. Now lets see, somewhere under all this SPAM, I have the date written down... 1902???

Seriously, Slam, I didn't know you were living this double life as a Blogger and a WP Spammer!?

Now I know why an e-mail from you goes directly to my G-Mail Trash Bin. And why I can't do anything about it. You're on, The List...

It would seem the "PC-Police" are very hard at work with OUR dollars striving to make the Internet a MUCH safer place for adults who don't partake in our blamer-in-chief's agenda.

Big brother is watching...(sure glad I was an "only child" some days - no brothers OR sisters to worry about...LOL).

Hang in there.
Stay safe and warm

Spam.. I don't know how you can eat that stuff. ;)

I hope the issue resolves soon.

So frustrating! I had an issue with commenting on any site that used discus. So weird! For not being alive and sentient, Computers sure can be persnickety.

Hope you get it figured out soon!

I'm glad I read this! I found one of your comments in my spam queue, which I don't often think to check. Wordpress is usually pretty good about catching actual spam, but every once in a while, a legitimate comment gets tossed in there.

I've approved your spam comment, so that should prevent any future comments from being flagged as spam, I hope!
