My Most Controversial Assertion Yet

Lately, I have been getting a few comments and emails accusing me of becoming overly opinionated with my posts.

That perhaps I am becoming too controversial.

And lacking in clarity.

I disagree.

And just out of spite, I am going to use today's offering to stir the pot.

Yes, I am embracing divisiveness with this post.

I hope you have your seatbelt on prior to reading the following.

I declare...

Captain Crunch's Peanut Butter Crunch!

There you have it.

I need to sit down now and rest.

All this playing with fire and stirring controversy is draining the energy from me.

Thanks for listening though.

So what do you think of my bold assertion?

Agree? Or, would you choose another children's cereal as your favorite?

Note: The folks from Quaker Oats/Captain Crunch DID NOT compensate me for today's topic--though they should.

Yummm. I agree. I haven't seen any controversial posts from you, though. But even if you are controversial, a blog is for posting your opinions, so go for it!

I have not had this one in years but do remember it being pretty high in the yummy department. Vanilla Chex is a pretty good "adult" cereal. ;)

I'm not really a cereal person, so you can have mine ;-)

Controversial posts? I haven't noticed. But your blog - you get to post whatever you want in my opinion!

Oh my gosh, Slam Dunks, how could you be so controversial? And divisive? :)

Have never tried Captain Crunch, but might have to now, if there's a peanut butter version.

(BTW, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. Much appreciated.)

hahaha when they send you hate mail, you are doing something right. Never eat cereal though, but I'll nod and agree

Whoa, man don't be stirring the controversial pot like that. But I have to respectfully disagree, this is not the best tasting cereal...and I should know because I've been eating cereal for breakfast and midnight snacks for about 40 you can trust me when I tell you this.

Grape Nuts is the best tasting cereal. but you have to add a lot of milk and sugar to the bowl and then let it sit for about 10 minutes so the little morsels soak up all that milk and sweet sugar flavor...aand then eat it.

You're welcome.

LOLOL!! Priceless. I'm partial to chocolate Cheerios, but this one sounds delish. Too controversial? Now I'm going to have to go back through all your posts and reread them...just to make sure I caught the clarity in them...or lack thereof.

Oops, I'm sorry, was that overly opinionated? Sarcasm should definitely be a font style.

My Sweetie would burn you as a heretic as he believes that only the original flavor of the Crunch holds the title as the best cereal ever. My kids will side with anyone who will give them cereal, period. (grin)

Don't rock the boat, Slam Dunks. The kind of posts you normally do might just attract a dangerous sort and before you know it, you'll be reporting on yet another cereal killer. ;)

Firstly, I agree that you should be compensated for this post. Two: I love opinionated blogs - that's what blogs are for - giving an opinion!!!!!!

I agree.
And I miss it terrible because I am now banned from peanut butter.
So I've been going with my #2, Lucky Charms.
But you are absolutely right.

Eww, are you kidding me? That's one of the worst cereals ever! For kids' cereals, the two best are Cocoa Crispies and Cinnamon Life.

For junk cereal, Cinnamon Toast Crunch is best. Get your facts straight!

As terrible as it sounds, I love all cereal with sugar. I try not to keep nay home because I know I will eat it all. :)

Peanut Butter Crunch is one of my all-time favorites, so I'll agree. Cinnamon Toast Crunch comes in as a close second!

I’ve never seen it in any country I’ve lived in. :( I guess I’ll have to go for Fruit Loops!
