Mysterious Song

What to do when the music stops? Ok, definitely not this...
A man allegedly punched a Pennsylvania Lottery machine in the Downtown Easton Wawa because "he was mad because his song had ended," a store employee told city police.

John C. Dijulio... came into the store Thursday night... and bought peanuts before leaving... He returned and punched the machine.

Police later determined he was upset that a song he loved that was playing in the store had concluded...

If investigating this case, what is the most important information to determine?

Well, what tune would motivate Mr. Dijulio to take such action, of course!

The Greatest by Kenny Rogers?

Love Stinks by the J. Geils Band?

What song do you think it was?

It was certainly not this one.

Enjoy your Wednesday.

Note: If you need a smile today, click on the "The Greatest" link above. It will take you to YouTube where a father and young son made a video to accompany the song. They do a nice job with it.

Hah! I think it was Push it! by Salt N Peppa. Maybe he didn't know how to spell "punch". Ok. That was a lame attempt at solving your riddle.

LOL...I hope I NEVER hear that song again...
That would make me punch something, too.
Easton, PA USED to be such a nice quaint place.
Chester,PA on the other hand...was NEVER nice at all.
And buying peanuts at a WAWA?
(highway robbery)
Something;s wrong there, too - grocery stores are way cheaper and open as long.

Good story.
Stay safe out there.

I love music and get sad when my favorite songs end too, but to punch a machine? Wow. Can you say "anger management?" haha

No kidding! I never cease to be amazed at the craziness of people. I don't even have a guess at the song though.

Interesting story! And now I'll be wondering about it all day.

No song ending would make me punch anything made of metal.

But I'd like to punch some artists when they START to sing a song.

Did they arrest him? For battery against a gambling machine?

My old college town. Must have been rap music, rap music always makes me want to punch something.

Speaking of socking something, I used to have a thing for Sherri Lewis.

Perhaps he was REALLY trying to get more lottery tickets to come out of the machine. I dunno, because I don't buy lottery tickets and have no idea how the machine works. Just my .02.

If he was truthfully angry because a song ended, put his picture out there for the public to see. He's a ticking time bomb.

Some people clearly have anger issues!

My guess would be a Lil Jon song, like 'Turn Down For What'

This reminds me of a comedian who said he was in a restaurant with a jukebox and decided to play a prank. He punched "What's New Pussycat" in something like 8 or 9 times. Then he sat there as everyone started to freak out. He let it play one other song and just as everyone was expressing their relief, started back up with the "What's New Pussycat" songs again!

hahaha, well- you have to respect is loyalty to the craft. That's hilarious. And I'm sure my husband will thank you for reminding me of that song!! We're about to head out on a road trip and now I can't get it out of my head ...

I read a loss report one time for a Work Comp claim and a patron had entered the gift shop of the zoo to purchase something and then tried to enter the actual zoo as they left. An employee told the patron that they had to enter the zoo through the main doors and pay the entrance fee. The patron immediately drop-kicked the teenage girl employee to the ground and ran into the zoo. I mean- WHAT? Who are these people that do these things, ai-yi-yi!

What song could someone love so much that they'd punch something because it was over? We have the internet these days. If you want to hear a song over and over, ad nauseum, you CAN! No need for violence. HA!
